About Johnson County Chapter

It is the mission of the Johnson County Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals to be the acknowledged professional organization for administrative professionals in Johnson County, Kansas.  Contact:  Ceci Cook, President, email:  ceci.cook_iaap@yahoo.com.

Welcome to the Johnson County Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) website. Our chapter is here to mentor and foster your professional development through educational programs and workshops. We promote the  IAAP certification designation, Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and the specialties of Organizational Management (CAP-OM) and Technology Applications. We offer various professional workshops and mock exams as opportunities to acquire the knowledge to pass these two certification exams.  These workshops and mock exams are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

We hope that you will plan to attend a meeting to gather the information you need to advance your professional career.  The Chapter meets the first Tuesday of every month.  Chapter Meetings are held at the Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club, 9101 Nall, Prairie Village, KS.  For meeting details, please see "Meetings & Events."

Interested in attending?  Please contact Kathy Schmalz by email: dnkschmalz@gmail.com.
